Bye Bye Calum Davenport

WHU-CallumNews reports today suggest that Calum Davenport has been given a lump sum to leave the Hammers. It was last year when he was attacked and stabbed in the legs which left him with serious injuries that could have easily have rendered him unable to walk. But Calum has fought back to the point where he has been back training at Chadwell Heath. However, Calum’s problems didn’t stop with his injuries, he had been charged with assaulting his sister and is due to stand trial at Luton Crown Court in August.

With the new penny-pinching owners in place the opportunity to offload Calum, and his £16,000 a week salary, was too much for Gold & Sullivan to resist and Calum is reported to have been given £250,000 to walk (no pun intended) away from the club.
I am sure other injured members of the squad are wondering if they will be the next to go.
