Etherington is a scoring machine!!!

Etherington should shoot more…
Saturday’s result couldn’t have gotten any better for West Ham United or left winger Matthew Etherington, who managed to score two quality goals in the Hammers 0-3 win at the Madejski Stadium this Saturday. Overall the team has shown good form away from Upton Park and the players who did not start the season against Manchester City are the ones who have made the biggest impact. Hopefully their good form can continue, but if watching the Premiership has taught me any lessons, it’s that you can’t get too high after a win and you shouldn’t get too low after a loss. Remember how everyone was calling for Curbishley’s head after the Hammers first loss to Man City? Yeah…
Anyhow, the break for Int’l competition should be good for the team as they are expecting their new acquisitions of Nolberto Solano and Henri Camara to come in and get integrated with the rest of the team, and maybe, just MAYBE, Scott Parker and Freddie Ljunberg can come off the injured bench and join the team as well.

Good on you Hammers for turning the tables on the team that battered you last season. I can only imagine how satisfying that must be. I reckon Reading are going to seriously struggle this season. One question though. Aren’t you worried that you’re buying a team of hooligans. Bellamy, Bowyer, Dyer etc. Can they all truly co-exist?
Guys, need your thought on the latest West Ham football shirts. We’re going to approach manufacturers to listen to fans when it comes to their kits and we need your help Hammers.
