Kicked to the Curb-ishley?

Some talking points as you wait for the eclipse…

-We’ve signed Czech Jan Lastuvka as Bobbie Green’s understudy on a season-long loan/ I’m of the opinion that if Fulham didn’t want him we shouldn’t either, though he is just an understudy, and if last season is anything to go by we’ll rarely see the guy anyways. I’d rather see Marek Stech play that role, though, as he’s looked promising in some of the reserve games–I’d love to see this kid get a shot.

-Bookies worldwide are giving odds stating that our dear mananger will be the first to get the sack this season. Injuries last season give him the benefit of the doubt but he won’t be able to use that tired excuse this season, regardless of who’s injured or not. If we’re not in the top half by Christmas he’s gone.

-Spearking of injuries, Geroge McCartney, Lee Bowyer, Kieron Dyer, Nigel Quashie, Danny Gabbidon, James Collins, Luis Boa Morte, Matthew Etherington, Jonathan Spector and James Tomkins are all injured. Just those guys? Just ten? That’s it? We can handle it. They must pay our physio staff terrible overtime, but we can handle it.

-Craig Bellamy has been absolutely wicked this offseason with loads of goals of late. Hopefully this can transfer to Premier League success.

-Finally, highly-rated Michael Chretien of Morocco is said to be on his way here, he’s a pretty good defender from what I’ve seen though we’ll be absolutely stacked on the right side if he comes. You have to trust Don Nani though.
