West Ham 08/09 Kits
By: AlexG | July 22nd, 2008The new home kit was released yesterday, perhaps slightly overshadowed by the release of A.C. Milan’s line of kits. Nothing too drastic has happened to the kit but it looks a slight bit sharper than its predecessor. For those who like the kit, you can go ahead and safely purchase that Ashton #9 jersey as he looks to be with the club for a while. For those who don’t, well, they’ll come out with a new kit next season.
Here’s the new home kit

I’m really not sure what I think of the faux collar on the home kit. It does add some contrast to the jersey but has been met with mixed fan reactions. I’ll post more as the kit grows on me. As for the away kit, well it’s nice to see the club doing something different, even solely in the realm of kits. What do you think of the new kits? Post your comments and I’ll get back to you on the next post talking about our transfer window thus far.
And someone really should punch Elijah Wood in the face.
The new away kit, modeled by Craigie Gonzalez himself.
