West Ham, Argentinians, and Americans

Well we lost, 3-2. The game was well fought and we were able to start an Academy graduate. Deano scored a brace and we really did look in fairly decent form. And as the MLS All-Stars are now 5-0 in All-Star Matches, it’s hard to complain about the final result. The team seemed to gel a bit better than previously, specifically between Deano and Cole though it’s hard to tell as ESPN kept cutting away to talk about baseball scores, the food at the stadium, the weather, and their mothers’ back troubles. In all, though, I was just happy to see the Hammers on TV in a mostly competitive match.
In other (ex)Hammer news, Tevez is set to permanently sign for Man U for 32 million pounds, with all of the money likely to go to Kia Joorabchian. Let’s just remember the good times with Carlos, has he was integral to our survival. I remember last time I visited Upton Park versus Man U everyone gave him a standing ovation and he crossed his arms, mimicing our club logo. It will be interesting to have a footballer I actually like playing permanently for Man U, but best of luck to him in any case.
Let’s remember, for a moment, Senor Tevez.

Freddie’s doing well and Curbs looks likely to sign him on a 5 year deal soon. Could feature fairly prominently this season if things go his way!
