Wigan v West Ham Preview
By: Martin | September 11th, 2009
Venue: DW Stadium (somewhere up North)
Kick-off: Saturday, 12th September 2009 – 15:00 BST (10:00 EST)
Coverage: BBC Radio 5
Hopefully the Hammers can continue their winning ways against Wigan. Both meetings last season were wins, with Carlton Cole scoring the winner at the DW Stadium in March.
Zola has the opportunity to give new boys Manuel da Costa and Alessandro Diamanti a run, while Valon Behrami got through the reserves match on Tuesday without a hitch, so options are available. Kieron Dyer is out, again, with a knock, so there is a chance for Junior Stanislas or Josh Payne to make an impression.

wigan deserved the win they had some good performances from the player
rodallega was tireless n full of energy, poached the goal but think upson could have performed better
koumas kept possession well and made some excellent crosses
h.thomas kept parker quiet-which is a tough task in my books
n’zogbia was good on both the flank,i think he was better when he switched to his natural position
bramble was top notch n a deserved MoM
r.martinez is doing a fine job given that the dwm stadium has been a hunting grounds for the hammers n they couldnt even manage a point
now lets go on to liverpool-hope the hammers can steal a point
